Recent accomplishments and rebuild progress are now pulled from the administration dashboard instead of being managed as static homepage text.
Playlist, media player, and server progress
Today’s 440Music progress focused on improving the public artist profile experience, playlist playback tools, and homepage stability. The public playlist player and band profile song-list player both received refinements to playback controls, EQ lay... See moreout, label styling, and overall usability so listeners can move through music more easily while artists present their work in a cleaner format. The radio station section on the home page was also repaired so artist names now load correctly and link to the matching band profile, while the homepage store spotlight was stabilized so featured products display properly again. Together, these updates strengthen 440Music’s public music discovery tools, artist playlist presentation, and listener-facing media player experience across the rebuilt platform.
We also made important infrastructure progress outside the front-end rebuild. Security updates were applied to the server environment, including changes to the name servers and mail server configuration, helping prepare the platform for more reliable account and communication services. As part of that work, 440Music is moving closer to restoring and expanding its Free Email Service, which will soon be made available to all users. These improvements support the larger goal of giving artists, bands, and members a more secure, connected platform that combines music promotion, playlist sharing, radio exposure, and member services in one growing system. The update system now being used for these admin messages is also intended to become the public blog display over time as the rebuild continues.
